Summary from the beginning, before and after

The Time Cat is a story where Jason, a young kid discovers some special abilities of his cat Gareth, this cat was black with black fur, orange eyes and with the ability to time travel. When Jason discovers this ability, Gareth takes him to Egypt where the emperor of Egypt almost threw Jason to the crocodiles and kept Gareth as their muse but Jason agreed to let them make a fest for Gareth so they could leave after it. The places they visited next were England, Peru, The Isle of Man, Ireland, Japan, Italy, Germany and then Rome. At Rome Jason and Gareth were kidnapped by a small village but Jason talked their way out of there so they wouldn't be killed.

Confusing Parts of the Text

"When he hunched his shoulders and put down his ears, he looked like an owl." this part of the text confused me because owls are really different from cats. I figured out what it means by using my imagination, it means about the movements of the cat being similar to the owl's. "When he stretched, he looked like a trickle of oil" When I read this quote I thought it is nonsense. Later I understood that it looked like oil because it seemed like if he was melting. The parts of the text like these made the book interesting because it makes you think about.

Concluding with the Conclusion

Something I learned from this book is to keep your mind open with everyone and every time. Everyone could use this in the real world because when you keep your mind open you receive more opportunities. A thing that I learned from this book as well is to not break your promises. All the readers could use this in the real world because if you keep your promises then people will trust you and also like you. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it to all teenagers that like adventures.
